St Elizabeth’s opened our Hoddesdon charity shop in 2013 and it has become a big part of Hoddesdon High Street. Our shop provides so many behefits for the public, from donating as well as providing a low-cost way of buying clothing and other items. Reusing goods is also environmentally friendly. Our shop also offers volunteering opportunities for the local community and is a fantastic way to make friends in the Hoddesdon area. St. Elizabeth's supports some of the UK’s most vulnerable children and adults, by providing those with severe learning disabilities and other complex medical needs – often caused or complicated by epilepsy and/ or autism – with care, health, educational and residential support. We work with around 240 people over the year, many of whom have such complicated conditions that they require highly specialised care, 24-hours a day, 52-weeks of the year. With your support we continue to provide the highly specialist support and care required to ensure those living with severe epilepsy and often profound learning disabilities are safe, happy and can live life to the fullest.
