Join us at VE Day special service
VE Day will be celebrated across the nation on Thursday 8th May, marking the 80th anniversary of the historic day that Victory in Europe was confirmed, helping to usher in the end of the Second World War some three and a half months later on 15th August when Japan surrendered.
Here in Hoddesdon, a special VE Day service will be held at St Catherine and St Paul’s Church in High Street three days later on Sunday 11th May at 11am. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
