Winners in Love Hoddesdon Business Awards

Wednesday 5th February 7am

The results of our inaugural business awards, which were presented by the Mayor of Broxbourne on Thursday 30th January, were as follows:

• Community/Charity Business of the Year – Mayhem Theatre Arts (other finalists – Broxbourne Council and Keech Hospice Care)
• Food and Drink Retailer of the Year – Smokeshed Bar and Grill (other finalists – Chateau Café and Nonna’s Kitchen)
• Health, Beauty and Well Being Business of the Year – Carter & George Practice (other finalists – Forever Me and Nu You Pilates)
• Retailer of the Year – Cannon Travel (other finalists – Louise’s Florists and Morrisons)
• Service Business of the Year – Ashbourne Insurance (other finalists– Room at the Top Recruitment and Shepherd’s Estate Agents)
• Voluntary Member of the Year – Slimming World – Hoddesdon (other finalists – In the Pink (Hairdressing) and MFB Osteopathy)

Congratulations to all the winners/finalists and thank you to the Mayor and all those that participated. We look forward to doing it again next year.

We were also proud to report that in memory of Sarah Harris, the daughter of the Chairman of our Events and Promotion Team, who sadly passed away earlier in the month, we will be introducing a Sarah Harris Memorial Award which will be given to an individual or group who have gone that extra mile to help Love Hoddesdon
