St George's Festival and Parade 2023 was held in Hoddesdon Town on Saturday 1st April. The day was a success!
For this year only we decided to hold it in early April in order to provide a reasonable amount of time before our King’s Coronation event in May. It comprised an arena programme of entertainment on the War Memorial island, an array of family orientated fairground rides/stalls in the Clock Tower area, and food and community stalls between Fawkon Walk to Lord Street. There was also be a parade involving costumed characters, as well as local schools/uniformed groups between 1.00pm – 1.30pm. This started at the southern end of the High Street (near the Golden Lion PH) and end at the War Memorial.
